HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR AIRBRUSH TAN

With the right aftercare, your airbrush tan can last until your next appointment! Maximizing your tan's lifespan only requires a little extra planning. If you want to make the most of your tan, follow these helpful tips:


  • Wardrobe: Wear loose-fitting clothing to your airbrush tan salon appointment to help discourage your tan from rubbing off or looking uneven. The ideal outfit is a long, black t-shirt tress and sandals. Avoid wearing anything tight, such as leggings, yoga pants, jeans, socks, or sneakers. If possible, avoid wearing a bra until you have rinsed the cosmetic bronzer off.



  • Stay Dry: You'll want to avoid all moisture after your appointment until enough time has elapsed. The amount of time you wait to rinse off will depend on your airbrush tan; your technician can give you more specific instructions. Your first rinse should be brief; you won't use soap or other products, but will wipe the excess cosmetic bronzer off your skin using your hands. Pat your skin dry with a clean towel.


  • Maintenance: Bathe using tanning safe soap and bathing products to prolong your airbrush tan's lifespan.
